Awards

Co-sponsored by the South Carolina Association for Volunteer Administration (SCAVA,) the 2004 Governor’s Volunteer Awards recognize the contributions made by seven special volunteers or volunteer groups in the State of South Carolina.

The Governor's Citizenship Awards program honors one student from each participating school for outstanding service, leadership, responsibility, character, and discipline.  Each winner receives a Governor's Citizenship Award certificate and a Governor's Medal of Citizenship.

The Governor's Reading Honor Roll honors students who read at least 20 books during the school year.
